Mountain Grit LLC was started in 2024 by Scott Mondell. The birth of the company was a result of wanting to create products that contribute to serious shooters performance, consistency, and repeatability.

Our Story
After serving five years in the United States Army and three years providing executive protection in the private sector, Scott decided to step away from constant travel and focus on his family after many years of their sacrifices for him. As a CAD/CAM programmer and CNC machinist, Scott has always been passionate about enhancing products and designs to better serve end users. What began as a hobby—applying silicon carbide to friends’ firearms and accessories—has since evolved into a full-fledged mission to equip modern gun professionals with the tools and services they need to perform at the highest level.
